Diana Hernandez, Esq


Diana Hernandez, Esq. is the newest member of the Hudson County Latino Foundation's Board of Directors, and is currently the Chair of the Program Selection and Evaluation Committee.

Diana is an attorney licensed to practice in New Jersey and U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is currently employed with Getinge, a biomedical company as a Complaints Analyst, where she is responsible for evaluating the U.S. and worldwide medical device product complaints, and reporting to the FDA and to other country regulatory authorities.

Prior to Getinge, Diana was a practicing Insurance Defense Civil Litigation attorney with experience representing clients in various auto negligence, construction defect, products and premise liability, professional liability, and public entities defense matters, as well as Municipal Court matters. Diana was also an Adjunct Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University for the program, Puerta al Futuro, where she taught ESL, Academic Writing, Public Speaking, and Professional Communication courses.

Diana is a graduate of New York Law School and of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) at Seton Hall University. Prior to joining HCL, Diana was actively involved in service work, including a mentorship program with the NJ Hispanic Bar Association at Union City High School, and had the privilege of presenting at Union City High School 20th Annual Career Day.

As a proud Hudson County native and First-Generation American, she is thrilled for the opportunity to give back to her community with her passion as an advocate.
