Vanessa Trinidad joined the Hudson County Latino Foundation's Board of Directors in 2018 and is the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors.
Currently, Vanessa is a teacher at College Achieve Central Charter School. In this role, Vanessa is responsible for teaching middle school science, spearheading the school’s environmental club, and planning science related events for the school community.
Vanessa adds value to the organization by sharing her passion for achieving community empowerment through providing an equitable education for all students. Prior to her ascension as Chairwoman, she was a member of the Event Planning and Education & Scholarship Committees. In 2019, she co-led the one of the largest Humanitarian Aid projects to benefit two migrant centers in Southern and Central Texas. This project involved collaborating with three Archdiocese centers and numerous other nonprofit partners including, the Knights of Columbus, Rotary and many others.
Vanessa is a graduate of Barnard College and holds a Master’s degree in Education Policy from Teachers College of Columbia University. She is a Hudson County native, currently resides in Middlesex County and enjoys traveling and live music.
